I applied online. I interviewed at EagleView in Aug 2017
Interview
I applied for the In-House Counsel position using the application form found on EagleView's website. The application was fairly standard (i.e. attach your resume, cover letter, what's your salary expectation for the job, school/job history, etc.).
Shortly after I submitted my application, I received an auto-generated e-mail asking that I take a Wonderlic Assessment Test online (testing for basic intelligence - math, vocabulary, etc.). The Wonderlic is a timed, basic intelligence test (i.e. math, vocabulary, logic puzzles). Applicants cannot use aids (calculators or dictionaries) to complete the test. I took the test online, but was told that if I proceeded in the interview process, I would have to retake the test with someone watching me; so to confirm I didn't cheat.
Four (4) days after I applied for the job, I received another auto-generated e-mail indicating that someone from HR wanted to setup a Skype interview with me. I scheduled the interview accordingly.
On the day of the Skype interview, the HR representative was 15 minutes late and only contacted me after I left a voicemail on her phone. I retook the Wonderlic Test with her supposedly watching me on Skype (though she turned off her camera and mic and asked me to let her know when I was done with the test).
Once the test was done, rather than having the conversational portion of the interview on Skype, I was asked to end the Skype call so that we could discuss the position further on the telephone. Once on the phone, I was asked all of the same questions that I answered on my initial application (i.e. discussed work and school history in VERY little detail and salary expectations). The representative CLEARLY did not review my application, resume or cover letter prior to the interview and had very little understanding on the job itself.
Generally, my experience was pretty negative.
