Here's my ethos when it comes to employers: If you they lie to you during as an applicant, they'll lie to you as an employee. I was the first applicant interviewed. The interviewer told me that I would be hearing from her again and moving on to Phase 2. The next email I got was from a recruiting rep that was a canned rejection response. It was not even from the person I interviewed with. I'm not upset or disappointed at not getting the job as it was basically a fall guy, set-up-to-fail type job. I just don't like being lied to or misled like I was moving forward. If they can't follow-thru with something basic in the beginning, they sure won't later. Also, a few days ago, they have reposted the position.
