After a standard screening interview with their recruiter I was invited for an interview to their office in a couple of weeks. I was interviewed by the same recruiter and the potential supervisor. We had a good conversation covering my previous experience, my strengths, and discussed some potential challenges of the position. It seemed like it went well. However, I wasn’t selected because another candidate showed better technical expertise. It was rather disappointing as none of the questions at the interview required me to show any technical knowledge (all general questions) and nothing in the description of the job indicated the pre- for technical background. It feels like I wasted my time. But in general, the feedback was positive.
