I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Edelman (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
Phone call and then in person interview. Phone call was mostly just going through you resume and the in person interview was about 40 minutes more in depth. The phone call was mostly going over my resume and in person is when we discussed more about the internship, why I wanted to work there and got to learn more about the overall work environment. It was pretty laid back, obviously still in a business setting but it was low pressure.
2 rounds; overall straightforward with relatively standard questions for an internship. However the internship is competitive lots of people apply to this internship but it’s a great experience I enjoyed it
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Edelman (Hong Kong) in Jun 2025
Interview
Online written task on press release and social media post drafting. Can finish it in one hour. After that will be in person interview with managers. Interview questions are easy and casual.

Interview
Only did the first round which was a phone screening. Recruiter didn't seem that engaged and sounded like they were in a rush to get off the phone. Communication via email is quick though, and they're transparent about the process and updates so that's a plus.
