      Consumer Team Intern Interview

      Oct 21, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Edelman in Mar 2013

      Interview

The interview process for me was your typical interview. I applied online, but I also found a contact within the office I was applying and sent it to her. From there, it was about three or four weeks until I was contacted by the HR rep via email to set up an interview. About three or four days before my in-person interview, I got a phone call from the HR lady telling me there was a mix up and wondered if I could reschedule my interview. I thought she was being a little strange about it, but apparently it was a test to see how I reacted to last minute changes or something. The in-person interview went well. Three people firing off questions, asking me what I thought about the company, what I wanted and expected from an internship, etc. Very general questions and a few situational questions. I was contacted two weeks later with an offer.

      Question 1

One of the people interviewing me sat down, looked at my resume and said, "I haven't had a chance to look at your resume yet. Go ahead and tell me why we should hire you."
