Interview
Applied for the Edelman Summer Internship and progressed to the final round. Was told I’d be contacted a week after my interview but was ghosted even after sending two follow up emails. I just find it disgusting that one of the world’s largest communications firms doesn’t have the decency to properly communicate with its candidates. I wouldn’t have cared if it was a no, but to leave someone in the dark is just outright rude. Do better.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Edelman (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview process went smoothly. I went to the PH floor then was sent down to the 10th floor to meet with two people that were supposed to interview me. I was a little lost on my way to the office on the 10th floor, but other employers who were in the elevator helped me out, so I found them really friendly. I ended up having my interview with just one person, but I really enjoyed it as it was basically just a conversation regarding my interest in the company and working in a PR agency.

Interview
Applied in February and heard back a week later. Was not a long waiting process and the staff was very helpful, very nice. very quick to respond. The chat with HR was not stressful, quite casual. Interns are valued in the company. They are a group of quite down-to-earth people.
