First call with HR, then interview with the manager and a contractor expert of matters.
The first call with the HR was nice, all seemed ok.
Then I was interviewed by the Head of product: I was asked to explain and show an exemple of my previous work plus discussion about the current product - signed a NDA for this.
They booked 1.5 hours of my time.
I passed the test by doing an exercise that I had to prepare at home. This cost me few hours.
I had a negative notification “we hired someone else” from the manager but no explanation was provided: any feedback was provided, not a detail.
I asked the reason of my exclusion but I had no answer.
This is very unfair and it’s a pity for Edenred’s hiring process.
You have to consider that a candidate can spend several hours/days in order to prepare at the best his interview, even though this work is totally free.
At the same time the cost of a feedback is so low that not providing feedback is a sign of mis-respect.
