The process started out simple enough, the recruiter contacted me, and we had an initial phone screening. He really tried to sell the opportunity to me, probably because Edgewell is not a well know company. The initial screening was success, and I was intrigued. The next step was a call with the hiring manager. We had a great conversation and really appeared to hit it off. I was progressed to the next step, which included various 1:1 meetings with the broader Edgewell HR team in the Shelton, CT office. It was my opinion that these meetings went well, but the recruiter informed me a few days later that they decided to go in another direction. He did not provide me with any substantive feedback and shared that he too was unclear what the hiring manager was looking for....In all, the fact that they could not get their act together enough to clearly communicate to their recruiter what the ideal candidate would look like speaks volumes. Disorganized, unprofessional, no name organization....don't waste your time.
