My experience with the recruiter at EA was not a positive one. She (someone who was also mentioned by another person a few reviews before mine) was very aggressive from the get-go and, despite having 30 minutes, kept telling me to hurry up because she had a bunch of other calls to make. She'd ask me a question, I'd start to answer it, then 10 seconds in I was cut off. There were aspects to the position that she described that were not on the posting. For example, the job is posted as Remote but when I got on the call I was told "if you live within X miles of an office, then it's Hybrid" and she wanted to know on the spot right then and there if I was okay with that. My answer of "I'll have to see" was not acceptable to her. I reminded her the position was posted as Remote, but that fell on deaf ears. I was also told 50% of the job was sales which I think should be more explicitly described on the job posting. The recruiter ended by telling me they had quite literally thousands of applications for the position and, given the job has been posted for at least 6 months that I know of, I think they are trying to find a flawless diamond that might be difficult for them to come by. This feedback is not a sleight on EA as a whole, but just the recruiting process.
