Hello!
Thank you for the feedback - we appreciate it and we will definitely do our best next time and, of course, we will take that into account, so this won’t happened again.
Coming back to your review: if we understood correctly, the project interview included different levels of questions based on your CV and experience described. There could have been also general questions asked regarding the automation skillset, if you had any experience with setting up the processes etc., so we assume that there was simply misunderstanding due to the fact, that from time-to-time position requirements can change and the client can proceed with new responsibilities or requirements.
We were looking for a manual QA person with experience working with an automation team, who knows how to prioritize test cases with regards to automation, decide what needs to be automated and why, create appropriate regression suites, etc.
Potentially, those skills could be useful for the future phase of the project. Managers have interviews with many candidates, that’s why there has been a decision made to proceed with a person, which had not only theoretical knowledges, but also practical skills with automation. This is also about manual part as well, we assume that you’ve received a feedback after technical part and to sum in general – we can communicate in the future about other positions, where there will be an appropriate skillset for you.
Do not hesitate to write to our recruiters directly – we are looking forward to cooperating with you in case of new interesting positions!
Thank you for your time invested in communication with ELEKS.
