Interview process was challenging for me as a candidate due to very poor communication from an HR perspective.
The actual interviews themselves were both thorough and fair, I felt I had plenty of opportunity to showcase my relevant expertise as well as ask questions.
To start - applied online, received an automated email almost 2 weeks later, inviting me to interview online.
Online interview was "on demand" - log into a platform and record myself answering standard interview questions, able to re-record each question as needed to ensure my final submission was flawless.
After that step was complete, did not have a sense for next steps or the email address for anyone to speak to, ask my own questions, etc as the invite for On-Demand Interview came from an unmanned box.
Two weeks later, was contacted by an actual human HR rep and was invited to set up a video call with the Hiring Manager. Was asked salary range via email, did not have a call with HR.
Next step after completing video call with Hiring Manager was a panel interview with two potential peers, also asked standard interview questions.
Was not given any information about next steps.
Waited, then followed up with HR on status - was told that the hiring manager "had not made a decision due to the overwhelming number of candidates"
It has now been another two weeks without any contact or communication, which has been the standard throughout this process.
