      I applied for a position at ElevenLabs, which has been open for a few months, and had a generally positive experience during the initial stages of the hiring process. My application was acknowledged quickly, and I was invited for an interview within a week. The interview felt positive overall, as the questions focused on my experiences and background, as well as my understanding of the job requirements and my availability. However, I was surprised when an additional person joined the interview unexpectedly, as I had not been informed about this beforehand. Following the interview, I was given a take-home challenge, which I completed based on my understanding of their offerings and the information available on their website. I felt confident in my responses and was pleased with the effort I put into the challenge. I answered the tickets efficiently, demonstrating my ability to handle tasks in a timely manner. However, after a week and a half of waiting, I received an automated email informing me that they would not be moving forward with my application. Unfortunately, the response did not provide any feedback or reasoning for the decision, and it did not mention whether I could reapply in the future, which left me feeling disappointed and uncertain about what could have been improved, if anything. While I appreciated the quick responses during the initial stages, the lack of communication and feedback after the take-home challenge was disappointing. Based on my experience, it appears that the criteria for evaluation could be extremely stringent, which may pose challenging for many candidates. Ultimately, I don’t know the reason why my application was rejected. If you are considering applying for a job at ElevenLabs, I recommend thinking carefully about your decision, as you may find yourself investing time without a clear return. I hope my experience can help others in their decision to apply, and I encourage ElevenLabs to consider improving their communication and feedback processes to enhance the candidate experience.

      I was quite excited about potentially working for ElevenLabs, but the interview process wasn't great. After the first inteview, they told me I would be contacted within a week. I didn't hear anything even after sending a follow-up email, so I had assumed I didn't pass to the next phase. However, I got an email to schedule the 2nd interview a month after having done the first interview. I understand things happen, but the bare minimum would have been sending an email to the candidates letting us know that the process was taken longer than usual. In any case, I went for the 2nd interview, which was live troubleshooting, and I was told that I'd get feedback on the exercise and where I went right or wrong. The only thing I got was a template saying they hadn't chosen me - no feedback whatsoever. I wanted to ask for feedback, but they sent the email from a no reply email address, which meant I couldn't contact them at all. Very disappointing behaviour that shows they don't really care about the candidates at all

      I believe this was the best interview experience I've ever had. From the very beginning, the people at the company showed a genuine interest in being there, paying close attention to what I was saying and fostering a productive dialogue. Although I felt a bit nervous at times, it quickly faded because of how smoothly each stage was conducted. I was treated exceptionally well throughout the entire process. Initially, I had a first-round interview to discuss my resume and learn more about the opportunity. I talked about my experience, answered some specific questions, and also asked a few of my own. I quickly received an email to schedule the next phase. The second stage was a technical challenge. I shared my screen and solved some problems alongside the department manager, who had also conducted the first interview. Following that, I had a more in-depth technical meeting with two other managers from the department. Again, I discussed my experience, answered various questions, and was able to ask more about the role. I was treated with the same warmth and respect. The final stage was a conversation with the head of the entire operations department. This was an excellent meeting; I once again shared a bit of my background and answered questions, all while being treated with the same professionalism and kindness. The entire process took about two weeks, and I was kept informed of every step along the way. In the end, I received an offer and promptly accepted it! The initial onboarding process was just as well-organized. On my first day, I had a meeting with one of the people responsible for the hiring department. She explained everything in detail and warmly welcomed me to the company.
