      Interview

*Warning: long post* This is just my personal experience. I never really care to write reviews or stories, but this company left an extremely bad impression. It's worth mentioning that the people inside the company I spoke with, a designer and managers, were really friendly and those conversations went very well. It's the communication, coordination, and HR outside of those conversations that's highly disrespectful. My first call with the recruiter consisted of a woman screaming, hollering, and laughing in the background, which interrupted me a few times. Initially I thought the call was being shared with another team member and that they were reacting to my responses. I would pause, confused, but never really got an explanation, though I could tell the recruiter was muting the call every now and then on their side. Very unprofessional and rude, but I let it slide. After the subsequent rounds, the same recruiter emailed me asking to speak that same day. I was able to call them with such short notice, but was put off at how they seemed to expect me to be at their beck and call on a work day. The call didn't even end up being anything really substantial as they just said they'd get back in touch. The same day, they again asked to coordinate a call for an offer, which I was excited about, but I was going to be out of town the next week, and seeing as it was a Friday, I let them know and asked if it was possible to schedule a call for the following week. I received an email over the WEEKEND, which is incredibly unprofessional by the way, with a sassy remark on how I couldn't even hop on a call to discuss their offer. This was rude, but I moved my schedule around to accommodate them once again even though I was going to be away and dealing with other things during that week. This was followed by constant scheduling difficulties, pushing for earlier calls, I even called them back one day with no response, and then when we finally did call, it was just an interrogation of why I was a few minutes late to the call that they asked to schedule the same day (I was at work and called on my lunch break), and why I wasn't able to call this week and what I was doing. I was very transparent during the entire process, didn't call them out for their unprofessionalism, and always accommodated their needs as best I could. A company that is so disrespectful of other people's time and situations, ESPECIALLY with all that could be going on in their lives at the present moment is just beyond me. I'm actually thankful they decided to hit me with the "we've decided to move on" email because after that whole experience it was just a waste of my time. This is not the type of company I respect. I understand this may not reflect the attitudes of everyone inside the company, and I genuinely enjoyed the actual employees I spoke with, but just be wary that they may expect you to always be available just for them.
