I was contacted via email 3 days before Christmas to do a HireView interview, to be completed within 72 hours. 4 weeks later, I received an email to schedule an in-person interview. It wasn't until I scheduled the interview that I had a name of a person at the company, though no contact information. I arrived for the in-person panel interview, which lasted 1 hour. They were clear they were pressed for time. I followed up with an email, followed by an email 2 weeks later. 5 weeks post interview, I received an email saying they pursued other candidates. Overall, it was a very impersonal process. When I asked for an email address so I could send a thank you, I commented, "I'm not sure if you know this, but you guys are the first actual people I had talked to during this process." They said, yes, they knew. SO very odd.
