I did the initial screening phone call, with talent acquisition that was located in Florida. It was about a 10 minute phone call of me talking, and the other person sounding like they were doing other things and barely listening to what I had to say.
I was told they could offer me 45k starting, I countered asking, they couldn't do any better since I had 10 years of experience coming in. I was told no, that the position was considered more entry level, but was paid lip service that *maybe* I could be promoted to get me closer to what I had been making prior to covid with a competitor. It was beyond insulting.

I'll specify this was simply the initial screening phone call. I was asked about my previous job experience, why I wanted to come back to the labor market, and back to the company (I had formerly worked for psav/encore years ago)
The recruiter over the phone shared the base salary for this job was $45k. I thanked her for her time, but mentioned i was looking in the 6-figure range. She encouraged me to come in for an interview anyway, that i had the experience they were looking for, etc., etc. So I did. Held an interview with the Regional Director. He asked my salary expectations. I shared the range that was shared with me over the phone and asked if it was negotiable and that I was looking in the area of 6-figures. He expressed his disappointment at being unable to hire me, and that they could not make an offer like that. Obviously that is a huge jump, but feel the recruiter should be aware of the ranges and not wasted my or his time.

Had 3 interviews. All were with very positive people and great experience. the interviews with each were very comfortable settings. The last interview was to get to know me and me to get to know what the expectations of me are.
