The first step in the process was a phone interview with talent acquisition. The call took about 45 minutes and we reviewed my resume and projects that I've worked on. The recruiter was very friendly, built rapport, and was able to answer my questions about the company and work environment. After about a week I was contacted to have a phone interview with the hiring manager. The call with the hiring manager only lasted about 20 minutes. She asked me about my current job and projects I've worked on. She did not ask any probing questions or additional questions to more deeply probe my skills or experience. No behavioral based interview questions were asked. The hiring manager did not seem to be interested in building rapport or positively promoting the company.
One phone screener, never heard back from the company. The recruiter I talked to came across as disinterested/eager to get off the phone with me during our conversation, and I ultimately felt that the company would not have been a good fit culturally for me based on this interaction.
