After 4 rounds I was feeling pretty awesome about the experience and position. In the last round the hiring manager verbally told me she was impressed and that I would be getting a call soon to be moved forward. I was ghosted for weeks, it took two follow up interviews to tell me I was ‘overqualified’ for the position.
