I was a participant in the process for an HR role. I went through the phone screen stage and then was invited to next steps or a face to face interview. I met with multiple folks including the hiring manager for this unique and exciting opportunity. Thought things went well and we left off that they would be in touch in as few days to discuss next steps which entailed meeting the Business Partner or stakeholder. Well a week went by, two weeks, three weeks, and not a single response from anyone by the company, including the folks from HR I met with. It is very unprofessional to not reply (either way) to a candidate who took the time to travel to the location of the interview and spend a few hours of their own personal time to determine if things are a mutual fit. Very disrespectful and glad I found out what things were like at Eppendorf in this process prior to getting further along.
