I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Williamsville, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
This interview was a four step process. The first interview was an introduction to the job, the second was an explanation of the most difficult parts of the job, the third included two other advisors to speak with and ask questions, and the fourth was an offer.

Do you think you would be able to attract clients?
I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (New York, NY)
Interview
Quick process, show you're hungry and they'll give you a shot. Had one zoom, one in person meeting, and then a compensation breakdown. Nothing guaranteed, up to you to make money. Good for someone self motivated and will bet on themselves.
