I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Falls Church, VA) in Oct 2019
Interview
Three-part process, all conducted on the phone.
First part was comprised of traditional interview questions to determine compatibility.
The second part was still on the phone but also connected to a shared screen to watch the slideshow as it was explained by the advisor. This part consisted of them describing the company, the position, the benefits, and salary/commission options.
Third, I spoke with the same advisor for the third time, joined on a three-way call with their boss/mentor. After a brief intro, the advisor connected the call and I spoke with the mentor for about ten minutes, as the advisor listened. Mentor ended the convo and the advisor jumped back on the call. We debriefed and said we'd speak soon.
Advisor called back about 5 minutes later and offered the position.
The interview process had several rounds, one that was a panel in front of an MD, and a few with a specific hiring Manager. It was swift, kind, and to the point. The communication throughout the process was excellent.

Interview
Quick process, show you're hungry and they'll give you a shot. Had one zoom, one in person meeting, and then a compensation breakdown. Nothing guaranteed, up to you to make money. Good for someone self motivated and will bet on themselves.
