Interview was conducted with purpose, but in a very welcoming manner. Initial phone screen included introduction, small talk, and some details about the role. The subsequent high-level interview focused on skills review as pertained to the requirements of the role, as well as a brief verbal personality assessment to discern ability to perform well overall. Very positive interview - felt like both parties interested in me as an employee as well as a person.
