I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Equitable Advisors (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2023
Interview
It consisted of one initial phone call and 3 rounds of interviews. In the last round, you meet the VP and have to prepare a 5 slide presentation about yourself. Overall, it was a very easy interview process. The people seem all very nice and energetic and were very eager to answer all my questions. They don't ask behavior questions but seem to base it more on your personality (outgoing/ambitious type). Good experience just didn't think it was the right place to start my career.

Question 1
Why do you want to be a financial advisor? Why do you think this is the right career path for you?
Incredibly easy, they aim to hire anyone with a pulse to sell life insurance and annuities. Beware of the comp structure and ask about the bonus and override your manager will get from all of your work.
Very laid back. I was never asked any question about my job experience or any of the sorts. The interview consisted of a 15 minute conversation of small talk and getting to know the VP of the team you will be working under. The second stage was at the office location where you learn about the company and meet some of the staff.

Interview
Very easy interview, not too many questions they ask more listening to what they have to say about the role. Just know that you’ll have to find prospects on your own when starting off
