Engaged on LinkedIn by the team leader. Initially several conversations through DM on LinkedIn followed by an in person meeting which led to several in person meetings at the branch. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I was certainly very skeptical transitioning from a salaried position to a role that basically meant you eat what you kill.
