Interview
Questions were mostly validating my experience or personal social-based questions. Interviewer seemed to have little microbiology knowledge, which was a bit shocking for the lead microbiologist. During the tour the laboratory was very dirty, with smeared walls and long-stained floors from lack of care/resurfacing. Retired and broken equipment littered the counters. Overall, it was very clear that this was a very low-quality laboratory.

Had two interviews, both of them were over the phone. The first one was with a recruiter and the second was with the manager of the department I applied for.
The interview process includes HR screening phone call, technical interview for 1hr and French proficiency exam.
The interview process was smooth.Technical questions asked were basic too.
