Interview
I applied online for European Wax Center of Elk Grove and I got called the next week for an interview. I was very excited about the possibility of being hired here. I went in for an interview which was simple enough however didn't go as I expected. The woman was nice enough and she asked easy questions however then she went into whether or not I was a waxing customer. I said no and she asked why not. I told her I used to wax all the time however now I really didn't feel the need to wax anymore and I didn't like the pain necessarily. She then made the point that it's easier to sell something when you like it. Makes sense and I understand why they would choose not to hire me however I wasn't aware the position I was applying for would be "selling" waxing. Usually working at a front desk implies organization, phone calls, scheduling, etc. not being a sales person. I left the interview disappointed however that wasn't the worst part. My interview was on a Tuesday and she told me that she would call the candidates to let them know either way whether or not they got the position by THAT FRIDAY. It is now THURSDAY of the week AFTER that Friday and I never heard a single thing from anyone at the company. It is perhaps my biggest pet peeve when a company says they will call and then they do not. It's extremely rude to keep people waiting around for an answer when they have their hopes up.

Interview
Super easy and fun! You meet with multiple people. Usually the manager and in my case the franchise owner as well. I could tell right away that it would be a good fit.
Ghosted me which is just unprofessional in my opinion. It’s not hard to send a text to cancel a 15 minute interview. Days later I got an email offering me a job but I was just over it
