Interview
Was very brief. Wanted to know my past work experience and how I could use that experience for the position. Was basically just trying to see how my personality was and they also stressed how important it was to be able to work well under pressure.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at European Wax Center (Kansas City, MO) in Nov 2018
Interview
I saw them on a job listing online, applied through the site and interview #1 was scheduled quickly. The first lady I interviewed with was very kind and professional, then informed me that she is the regional manager, and that she would schedule an interview with the actual store manager for a later date. She seemed to think I was a good candidate. No sense of urgency, but fine. I returned the next week to meet with the store manager. As soon as she saw me, I saw her face fall. In retrospect, I wish she had spared me the trouble and just sent me on my way. It wasn't an issue with presentation, I was groomed and dressed similarly to the first interview. So, we went and I repeated many of the things that were previously addressed. She informed me that I'd hear back about the position within the week, never heard from them again. Even job posting sites have the grace to send rejection emails! They could have called, or she could have just sent me home as soon as she didn't like me.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at European Wax Center (Charleston, SC) in Jul 2017

Very informal and relaxed interview requiring a brief employment history and assessment of skills ,availability and discussion of required tasks for the position. Was a very pleasant experience overall with a chance to ask questions both during and at the close of the interview.
