I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at European Wax Center (Albuquerque, NM) in Apr 2014
Interview
The interview process was rather ordinary. I applied online and within a few days I got a call to do a short interview. The manager asked me general questions about my work experience and my customer service knowledge. She then set up a time to do a F2F and I went in to the store. She asked me all the general questions employers usually ask, and then gave me a GIANT packet regarding company policies and scripts I would be expected to memorize for sales. This was a Wednesday, and we set up my second interview for Friday. She expected me to have the first 3 scenarios memorized in two days time, even though it was finals week. I did not get it memorized, but I did my best to get the gist of it. The second interview was very awkward, because the manager and the assistant manager both sat in to watch me squirm through what little I had memorized. They gave disapproving and discouraging looks throughout that made me very uncomfortable and extremely nervous. They excused me nonchalantly and I left the store feeling extremely bad about myself, knowing I didn't get the position. However, the manager called me later that afternoon offering me the position and I started within the next few days. That was just the beginning of negative occurrences to come.

It was a super easy interview process! I was called the next morning and hired a few days later at the conclusion of the interview with virtually no sales experience.
very straightforward, questions about past work experiences and how your goals can translate as sales. you might be asked about how you’d pitch a package to a guest in the interview.
