Interview
round 1: 30 min critical thinking/reasoning quiz
if you pass that you go to:
round 2: 40 min interview on google meets +
2 hour long timed test where you look at redacted medical documents and police reports and have to compile that information into a demand letter. The assignment is relevant to the job--it's doing what you'd be doing in the role--but since it's timed + no ability to pause and come back, I would've been happier if I were compensated for that time. It's a good way to test if you can do the job, sure, but I'd imagine that it could deter great candidates who don't have as much free time to spare.
On the positive side, the process was relatively quick and efficient. They don't draw it out like a lot of companies do. I appreciate that.

You are given an initial assessment, if you pass that, you are contacted for a phone screening. If you pass that, you are given ANOTHER 2-hour assessment and meet with the hiring manager. If you are not selected you do not get any feedback and you have invested several hours for free.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at EvenUp (Tampa, FL) in Nov 2024
Interview
3 aptitude tests and 2 interviews. It was a quick process, 2 of the day tests were easy. The writing test was 2 hrs and had tons of useless information. It requires you to write for two hours. I did not get any feedback, but I did get a prompt impersonal rejection after jumping through all the hoops. I would avoid this place, they expect you to use faulty AI to write demand letters from 500+ pages of convoluted medical records.

Super quick phone interview. Felt like they would be willing to take anyone who would put up with their requirements. Asked why I wanted to apply and for a run down of my experience.
