Think back to an item that you had to investigate or research for someone else at some point in your career. This could be a question from a client or a coworker that required you to learn more about the issue on your own before coming back to them with an explanation of the root cause and how to resolve.
Some questions to think about:
What is the issue that needs to be resolved?
What is the root cause of the issue?
What is the resolution of the issue (if there is one)?
Are there other impacts of the resolution that need to be considered?
Be prepared to spend 10 to 15 minutes walking the interviewer(s) through your scenario as if they are the person you are investigating for. Please have a visual aid (slide deck, spreadsheet, etc.) to share during your presentation.
