I had a very quick phone screen with the recruiter who was clueless. It was about 10 minutes and she asked me to go through my resume. I asked if there was anything I needed to clarify or expand on and was told no. I was told my resume would be passed on to the hiring manager and my resume was impressive. I got a rejection email. It's ok it's just the first person I came into contact with was not impressive. She really didn't have a good understanding of the position and didn't tell me anything about the company. I was asked my salary requirements and my response was it really depends on the expectations of the position. She kept pushing me for a number and I asked if there was a range and was told she did not know.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Evolent (Arlington, VA) in May 2015
Interview
Two phone interview - one with HR and one with the hiring manager. Then onsite interview about two weeks later and met with 5-6 people. All interviews are one-on-one, and I didn't get any case study or brain-teaser type of questions. All of them just want to understand your background more and if you would fit into their team/company culture or not. There are behavioral question on how I manager difficult situation or competing priority/tasks. They seemed to be interested in knowing your past experience dealing with clients and managing projects.
