I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Evolution (Riga) in Jun 2015
Interview
It consists from two parts. The first part of interview - mostly simple conversation about your technical background, few questions in the process to confirm your skill. The second part is a live coding experience. You getting a task and a computer and you should right unit tests first and then make them pass.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Evolution (Lisbon, Lisbon District) in Mar 2022
Interview
- Typical HR interview, quick and friendly
- Tech interview where you have small talk about your experience + some basic theoretical questions.
Then you are given a task for live-coding. The task is the leetcode style thing with like 500 line description. I tried to solve it, narrating my thought process, but soon stopped with the narrating bit because I was met with silence on the other end most of the time. Also the environment where I was supposed to solve the task barely worked. Overall a negative experience, starting from the task that has nothing to do with your experience as a front end developer and ending with the atmosphere as a whole.
