I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Evolution (Riga) in Mar 2017
Interview
Most useless interview I have ever been to.
- It started with a game on codingame.com, which is a "great" way to begin an interview - by solving a task in JS that you never solve in real life while working on projects.
- Next it was a basic part: introduction and questions about background.
- Then was 1.5 (!) hours talking about Promises and a task to implement my version of promises using TDD. (Very "useful" task).
I'm not sure what this interview was supposed to prove and how it helps determine a good developer from a bad one.
It only left a bad impression about the company and their employment process overall.
Would not recommend.
