I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Evonik (Houston, TX) in May 2020
Interview
It was a lengthy interview process, but I was amazed by the Evonik management to take time to interview me. After the interview, I was able to learn significantly about Evonik's culture and the team. The management team was very inviting, professional, and humble. I can tell that they are meticulous at selecting candidates since hiring is such an essential part of the business.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Evonik (Parsippany, NJ)
Interview
My first interview was with HR and the Supply Chain Manager. I was, asked about my previous job responsibilities and why I left. I advised it was,due to my company relocating to NC. HR had few questions and most were based off of the recruiters information. The Supply Chain Manager had more questions because I had Logistics background as well as CS. I had been an International Shipping Coordinator and been certified for shipping hazardous materials. The CS Manager was not available to meet with me on the day of my interview. I needed to return two weeks later. I met with her as well as the group leader for the department. The interview questions were very basic. Have you been on many interviews, have you accepted any job offers, what type job are you looking for, have you ever had a problem with a coworker.
