External recruiter reached for initial screen, followed by interviews with hiring manager, multiple team members, and multiple stakeholders. Whilst there were a lot of calls, I prefer this approach as you get to really get a feel for the place and the people you’ll work with.

The interview process went very smoothly. There was good communication throughout the process. The Exabeam team kept me up to date on next steps. There were a total of 5 interviews spread across the course of 3 weeks. Once the interview process was completed I was promptly notified of their decision.

The interviews focused on my questions about Exabeam, and their questions about my marketing experience. They were more concerned with my marketing credentials rather than my expertise with SIEM. I thought this was very fair. They seemed to trust that I'll put in the time to develop the technical expertise required to be successful in the role.
