I was interviewed by the person, who expected to be my boss, surprisingly, director. Position we discussed with HR was at least one level above in the chain of management, Director level / report to VP, and, actually, we expected to be the peers. Interviewer was from management branch, nice person, professional and definitely have hands-on experience. I believe interviewer is great, very successful at his Director role and real pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, interview was focused on a technical screening in architecture field, which is my core knowledge and, obviously, not the core knowledge for the interviewer. I have positive impression from the interviewer, but very negative impression from the overall hiring process. I decided to not continue.
