The interview was complex. The recruiter was really good. I’m someone with over 6 years of experience and I felt like they wasted my time. I went ahead and gave 5 rounds of interview including the recruiter round. I was clear that if they didn’t want me, they could go ahead and interview some other candidate. What felt really awful is that when they had someone from Madison (that’s the reason they gave me after waiting for whole 3 weeks, they didn’t follow up immediately or after a week like in the other reviews). They said they filled the position with a Madison based candidate. My question is why would you grill me for all five rounds if you had someone from Madison? I was even ready to relocate and I’m 2 hour away from Madison (I’m in Chicago). The process really sucked and anyone that’s giving interviews knows the jitters and the anxiousness. I would suggest everyone be upfront with them and not face what I faced. If they ever see this, please don’t do this to people you interview. Don’t waste anyone’s time or energy. I’m glad they rejected me because I got a better offer at Rivian. :)
