I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Houston, TX) in Sep 2017
Interview
All behavior based questions. one on one interview, sit down. They were all scripted questions about my behaviors. "Describe a time when someone didn't do what they were expected to do, and what did you do to fix the situation." Overall easy and average questions.

Describe a time when someone fell short of their responsibilities, and what did you do to overcome it?
Very interesting interviewer and also interested in what I had to say. Although there were your typical behavioral questions, I was free to take the conversation any direction I wanted.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Houston, TX) in Sep 2018
Interview
Mostly behavioral and situational questions. They really care about your leadership and not as much your academics since to even get the interview you have to have at least a 3.5, so from that standpoint academics don't separate you from the rest. You need a lot of experience in the industry/field and have a lot of leadership skills either through organizations, clubs, or previous work experiences. They have high expectations for your answers.
