Typical interview process: applied online, initial phone interview, lunch interview then final full day interview on site. The site interview consisted of 5 one-hour one-on-one interviews and lunch with their younger engineers. Everything seemed professional except for couple of interviewers just did not seem to care about what you can offer rather it was drilling you with questions meant for people with 30 years experience when the job posting is for 5-year experience position.
Long story short, it didn’t feel like they wanted to hire people. Like some reviews other posted here, do not waste your time, effort or take time off work for the interview, because I do not think they are sincerely hiring, but rather they have to post public job posting for their visa sponsorship of current employees. I interviewed for the same position over a year ago and I asked the hiring manager how serious they are in term of hiring, he reassured me they are in need of someone right away. Somehow, the same job posting still exist now after more than a year. Anyways, I don’t mean to sound disgruntled because i didn’t get the job, I mean life goes on and I wasn’t unemployed then and now, but I just want to shed some light on what my thoughts are, especially if you are reading this you are probably spending a good amount of time preparing the interview, but people are busy, and I don’t think it’s ethical to waste people’s time interviewing if you are not serious about hiring them. Anyways go read others reviews on the same position or location and be your own judge.
