I have been approached by "IndiHire Consultant". It started with a HackerRank online test. Test was easy to medium complex question. Once I clear the test, they called me for f2f interview. I have been asked to come at 10 AM and they told me that all the round would be done on the same day. But, interview started at 11:30 AM and it was about 2 hr standing discussion, they asked me to explain everything on a white board. Well HR said, either i should come back post lunch or next day for next round. I was already late for a weekday, So I chose to come next day. Again it was two round, 1 is technical and other is techno-manager-architech kind of discussion. Again standing, white board around 3 hr long, not tea-coffee-water asked discussion. Then the HR said to me again that there would be an HR round post lunch and she would schedule a video call. Very simple that she never bothered calling. I called her up twice and then she said, I have to undergo of one more techo-manager round and she would schedule a video call. Finally that day also came ( not to forget, i have to do the follow up ), the techno-manager round happened. This is first time they asked me about my current CTC and expectation and that's it. It all done, finished. After that I kept on sending mail, calls, no response at all for a week time. But yeah, that is not end. Finally once i called one day, HR sent me mail that " My candidature is on HOLD". Utter rubbish, highly unprofessional HR, who does not know how to write a mail. I have received mail for the interview with the mail trail of other guy and that happened multiple times. if you can not pay a candidate up to his/her expectation, Ask them first before starting the interview. If you are not capable of paying, say that upfront. Be vocal and transparent. You must not be wasting someone's precious time.
