The interview was a promotion in reaction to a reorganization of the business unit. My specific experience would not be necessarily helpful to those coming into the company from outside, as I was a known commodity at the time of the job opening and offer. Having interviewed others for positions within the company, the best suggestion I could make would be to focus on technical proficiencies.
