I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FMG Suite (Cottonwood, AZ) in Nov 2024
Interview
The process took about a week for the actual interviewing process. Then getting a response was delayed due to the holiday week, which is understandable. Started with an assessment, then an invitation to a one way interview, an interview with the hiring manager, and then one with the director of customer service. Everything seemed to be going great, I was told how much they liked me. Was told that after the interview with the director I’d be contacted for next steps and that he’d move me along into the hiring process. They liked my experience, and said that they thought I’d be a great fit. I was very excited as I enjoyed everything I learned about FMG, felt I’d be a great fit, etc.
was told I’d be notified early the following week if Thanksgiving, waited a week and hadn’t received notification. Reached out to both the director and hiring manager for an update. Hiring manager never got back to me, but the director did. That’s when I was swiftly met with a rejection. Which was disappointing after being told such positive things, and having to reach out myself to get an answer. Bryson and Josh were great, they’re very kind and nice people. I’m just very disappointed. I really wish that what I had been told matched the outcome, but things happen for a reason. It still was a very pleasant experience.
The interview process took about one week, it was done remotely. It started off with an assessment to gauge your personality and logic. Then it was a one way interview where you answered five questions on video. Shortly after I was invited to interview with the hiring manager Bryson. He was great, very friendly. It went well, he said he liked me and thought I was a great fit. That I’d have to meet with the director Josh and afterwards he’d contact me, see if I was still interested and move me along into the hiring process. I interviewed with Josh who was very friendly, very nice, and a great person to talk to. I also thought it went very well with him. I was told I’d be receiving an update the beginning of that next week. Then that got delayed understandably because of the Thanksgiving holiday, so then I was informed I’d get an update the beginning of that following week. When I hadn’t? I reached out again, just to follow up. I was directly met with a rejection after being replied to. I was very excited because I enjoyed everything I had learned about FMG, I was told I’d be a great fit, and thought everything aligned especially after what was verbally said to me. So I’m mostly just disappointed that what had been said to me by two higher ups? Didn’t match the outcome.
I had been told that my experience, and everything else was great.
However that doesn’t take away from both of them being very great, and accommodating.
Standard interview process, took a competency test then met with the hiring manager. Standard questions and talked through the complexity of the role and that they were looking for smart, adaptable, customer-centric reps.
