Here's a concise overview of my experience with the 2024 Graduate Scheme | Data & Analytics, Forensic & Litigation Consulting at FTI Consulting: October: Applied via the FTI Consulting website. October-November: Completed two eSkill assessments, covering numerical, verbal reasoning, logical thinking, and technical skills. November: Phone interview discussing personal background, interest in consulting, company knowledge, and future goals. December 1st: Attended the Assessment Centre at FTI Consulting's London office. At the Assessment Centre: Group Exercise: Analyzed a case study to identify potential fraud and develop action points, emphasizing teamwork and presentation skills. Technical Interview: Faced questions about my CV, market sizing, and client dataset handling. Senior Leader Interview: Discussed personal fit with the Senior Managing Director, exploring experiences, passions, and future aspirations. Feedback was expected before Christmas but arrived in mid-January, resulting in a rejection. Key Advice: Consider the time and effort required for each stage of the process. Prepare thoroughly, focusing on company values, case studies, and presentation skills. Have well-prepared responses for common interview questions. Best wishes to all applicants!

Relaxed informal atmosphere, but for the 1-hour long call without video there was little opportunity to establish rapport. Mostly experience and behavioural questions with some feedback, no technical experience questions. No opportunity was offered to ask questions at the end of the interview.
