I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FTI Consulting (London, England) in Oct 2018
Interview
The interview had 3 components. Maths, verbal and writing.
The writing piece is the same, about Prisoners of war using a cigarette as a currency. It's taken from a really famous research paper I think. Had to write by hand.
Verbal was relatively easier than maths part. 28 Qs, 30 mins. However, could not complete everything. For some of the questions, you need to read one full paragraph and answer 1 question. There were quite a few questions like that which took up most of the time.
The math part is not complete GRE GMAT or SHL. It's a mixture of all. Many work rate problems, calculating profit (you don't need to know the formula it's given), algebra and graph/table reading. The time is really tight, no calculator. 25 Qs for 30 mins. Speed seems to be the most important thing.
Easy interview process with some data analysis and questions to answer about a case with financial statements. Behavioral questions like why this firm, why consulting, etc. Professional process and not too difficult
The process has a very practical and interesting case study, an introduction about the firm and employee teams. Overall speaking, there have a very good vibe and a friendly working atmosphere.
The interview process for consultant position consisted of one or two online interviews, and several in person interviews with varying level personnel in person and online. Basic questions on background and handling specific situations, as well as experience and knowledge of industry questions.
