I was approached on LinkedIn about the role in July. I had a very positive initial discussion with a recruiter and then enjoyable follow-up interviews with three senior stakeholders over several months between July and October. When at short notice I found out I was expecting a furniture delivery at the same time as my (5th) interview - I let the recruiter know to apologise for any brief interruption. I made alternative arrangements for the delivery and let them know we could go ahead, but they suggested rearranging. I moved yet more meetings to accommodate the interview, then heard nothing until today (two weeks later) when I have been told they're not progressing because I wasn't flexible or apologetic enough. Having freed up several hours of time over a lengthy period and completed tasks speedily and at short notice, I found this to be a very poor experience!
