After the phone screening step, I was set up to meet with the hiring team. They were unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. They showed up quite late without an apology. They didn’t even have the courtesy to properly arrange their seats in a way where I could see them clearly, so it was pretty awkward and made me uncomfortable. Rude attitude from the beginning where they kept interrogating me and asking me questions that are answered in my resume. After a stressful and disrespectful half-hour they asked me if I had any questions, and I asked them to tell me what they did and what they were looking for in a candidate for that role, but they literally said their names and positions, then said time is up! Maybe if you’re so committed to only half-hour don’t show up late, and don’t go full interrogation mode on candidates, just have some respect for candidates or don’t waste their time.
