I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fast Enterprises (Denver, CO) in Sep 2009
Interview
I approached Fast at a career fair at my university. I was given a panel interview there. This interview was with HR and a consultant. A lot of personal banter with a few technical questions. Then I was flown to Denver for a one on one interview with a partner of the company. This interview was a short amount of personal questions, really just seeing if you fit the personality mold of the company (They like work hard play hard personalities) followed by some brain teasers completed on a white board out loud.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Lot's of MENSA like questions, very easy programming questions. "You have 5 bottles of pills, 4 bottles have 10 gram pills, one bottle has 9 gram pills, you have a coin operated scale and one coin, which bottle has the 9 gram pills?"
2 interviews. Both video calls. First call was a informational/get to know you call. Second call was 3 hour interview. Talked to someone in HR and do an IQ test. After, I was interviewed by a director and we did some brain teaser questions and pseudo code

Question 1
There are three identical boxes of apples and oranges, except one contains all apples, one contains all oranges, and one contains a mix. The boxes are labeled “apples”, “oranges”, and “apples and oranges” but all 3 boxes were labeled incorrectly! You have the opportunity to inspect fruit from the boxes one at a time, without looking inside the box. What is the fewest number of fruit you need to inspect to correctly label the contents of the identical boxes?
It was a very quick process. I recieved a reply back within first two days of applying and scheduled a phone screening within a week from the email. Recuriter asked pretty average questions.
