Interview
Interview was very straight forward. Started with a few typical interview questions ("what are your three top qualities", "where do you see yourself in ten years"). After the typical questions it was a simple conversation with the site manager regarding what you like to do for fun and simply getting to know you.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fastenal (Sterling, VA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Very to the point and honest. I was interviewed directly by who I would eventually be working directly for instead of an HR department so that was nice. It was the only interview round but they said normally there would be two if there were not already two people conducting the interview. Nothing felt like they were trying to trap me, all straightforward questions about job experience.
