I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx in Sep 2017
Interview
I applied online and got a call a few days later but I missed it and I could not reach them for some reason. Then a few more days past and they called me again and i picked up to schedule and interview. I parked in their lot and I had to go through security, which was a very small room at the end, and had to take off electronics and metals then sign in, since I was a visitor. Then they made me wait in the security room until someone came to get me and we walked through the warehouse, that really was big and amazed me, then the offices where I was gonna interview. He just asked if I could actually do the job and told me about everything that could happen and what I was gonna do. He told me that I also have to complete a form the emailed me. He asked me two other questions that I don't think I answered well and the interview was over. I came out the way I came in from. And filled out the form that was emailed. It had been a while and I thought I didn't get the job. Then after 6 weeks they called me and said that my background check was good and asked if I was still interested. Then asked if I wanted to work early morning or late afternoon and informed me that I wouldn't get a lot of hours for part-time and that I need work shoes or else I can't come work. So now I have to go to orientation the following week. This is my first job and i'm scared, yet excited.
Pretty simple and easy they called me asked me basic questions about transportation and went over the job description and what I’d be doing overall it was easy and then they gave me a job offer
First is the the phone call, then background check, then orientation and work starts. Process is very straightforward and you can get started relatively quickly. Very easy process they really give just abiut anybody with internet access
There was not an interview process for this job. I completed the application and waited about two or three days before I was given a conditional offer that expired in 72 hours.
