I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at FedEx (Orlando, FL) in Aug 2009
Interview
Applicants for FedEx professional positions typically go through a situational interview with several panelists, to include the hiring manager and Human Resources representative. Other members may include peers for the position which you are interviewing for or members of the management team for which you will be working with. The key to success is to research how FedEx works and correlate past work experience to their business model and job at hand.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I did not find anything unexpected or particularly difficult with the interview process. I remember explaining past working experiences and the excitement I saw in the hiring manager as I answered each question. I never fully understood his excitement until I starting working at FedEx and realized, concepts and practices are common industry wide, we should not be intimidated if we had not performed that exact position before. Draw upon you strengths. Remember your past experiences, both good and bad, prepare you for what challenges lie ahead.
The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Mississauga, ON) in Jan 2019
Interview
I was contacted by the Corporate Recruiter who indicated that I was potentially a good fit for the Project Engineer role. After a series of emails I had four interviews which included: Screening Interview, Phone Interview with Hiring Manager, First Meeting with Hiring Manager, Second Meeting with Hiring Manager and Colleague.
After the second interview with the Hiring Manager, I was told that they would notify me of their decision within a week, but nothing, no response. This ruined the whole experience which, until that point, had been positive.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at FedEx (Coraopolis, PA) in Nov 2016
Interview
Routine interview process. Applied online, did wait a rather lengthy time for a response, then called in for interview. Interviewed in standard setting. The only difference was that while three managers were present, I was in essence interviewing for a potential position with all three of them separately, as they were all looking to fill a team, independent of the others. This was a relatively short interview by normal standards, but after it was over, I felt like it was a five hour meeting. The questions asked and the format of the answers sought, basically force you to provide extensive answers to their questions.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at FedEx (Pittsburgh, PA) in Aug 2014
Interview
Cold, Short and to the point. various situations were described and I was asked how I would handle them. Interview was held at an open table in the cafeteria. There are plenty of conference rooms that could have been used for the brief period. Interviewer kept checking his smart phone like he was afraid the world was escaping his control.
