      I interviewed at Fetch

      Interview

I was contacted by the recruiter and had my first and final interviews within a week, which I appreciated for being a quick process. The first round was with the director, followed by a panel interview with directors and representatives from different departments. The final interview lasted about two hours and required me to adjust my workday to accommodate their schedule, as they repeatedly emphasized the need to wrap things up soon. While I initially didn’t mind the fast pace, the limited preparation time—especially during a busy workweek leading into the holidays—did make it challenging to feel fully prepared. Ultimately, I didn’t receive an offer, with the feedback being that my responses weren’t detailed enough. Given the constraints, this felt a bit unfair. Some aspects of the interview stood out positively, particularly the professionalism of a few team members. However, not all interviewers shared the same level of engagement; one even appeared distracted, texting during my responses. This left me feeling undervalued and a bit frustrated, especially considering the time and effort I invested. Overall, I’d describe the experience as neutral. While parts of the process were handled well, there were moments that could have been more considerate and respectful of a candidate’s time and effort.
